Schedule & Timings
Section titled “Schedule & Timings”| Time / Phase | Action |
|---|---|
| 08:45 | Both teams meet up at Zürich HB. |
| Pre-Game | A coin toss decides the hiding order. The winners hide first. |
| 09:00 | Round 1 Begins. Team 1 (Hiders) gets 45 minutes to travel to a hiding zone. Seekers release at 09:45. |
| Round 2 | Roles rotate. Team 2 (Hiders) gets 1 hour to travel to a hiding zone due to positioning disadvantages. |
| 14:30 | If Team 1 has not been found yet, they may choose to reveal themselves so Team 2 can get a run. |
| 20:00 | Hard game end time (or whenever the final team is found). |
Delays & Pauses
Section titled “Delays & Pauses”- Train Delays: If hiders are still on a train due to a delay when their hiding time ends, they must exit at the next stop and notify seekers. The game is paused from the end of the hiding window until they step onto the platform.
- Scheduling Note: You are not allowed to board a connection that is scheduled (per the SBB app) to arrive after your hiding period ends. This exception only covers unpredictable delays on your final leg.
- Mid-Game Pauses: If both teams agree, the game can be paused between rounds (e.g., for lunch) and resumed at a mutually agreed time.
Win Conditions & End of Game
Section titled “Win Conditions & End of Game”- The hiders are considered found once any seeker is within 1.5 meters of any hider and has spotted them.
- The team with the longest cumulative time hidden wins.
- Bonus Run: If both teams agree and there is at least the winning run’s worth of time left in the overall schedule, the team with the shorter time can hide a second time.
